Duke is an outstanding site for emergency medicine residency training.  Recognized in 2000 as the 125th ACGME accredited emergency medicine residency program, we have 24 current residents and will recruit eight interns annually.

Our residency program is three years in length and no previous postgraduate training is required. Graduates from the program will be able to practice Emergency Medicine in any setting.  We are looking for individuals who are interested in the challenge of shaping the future of emergency medicine training at Duke University Medical Center.
