Duke Emergency Medicine is on the cutting-edge of EM research.  Supported by Duke’s Clinical Research Institute, the largest private research foundation in the US, Duke has ongoing studies in infectious disease, cardiology, stroke, and diagnostic imaging.  Duke Emergency Medicine faculty and residents present nationally at the meetings of the American College of Emergency Medicine and Society for Academic Emergency Medicine.  Our faculty are reviewers for international emergency medicine journals including Annals of Emergency Medicine and Emergency Radiology.
